Led by the powerhouse vocals of Devena De Donatis (DD), this Gold Coast band delivers an electrifying mix of Rock n Roll, Rockabilly that will get you moving. With the O'Connor brothers on guitar and double bass, and dynamic drummer Aaron Turner—an ex-Auckland lad—this rhythm section carries the legacy of Gold Coast's Lock n Load and The Tri-Tones.
Heading over from their home in Australia, all four members have called New Zealand home at some point, and they’re pumped to bring their high-energy show to the North Island. Get ready to hit the dance floor
The Hot Rod Festival is on at Orewa Beach is the biggest promotional demonstration of dancing for the club and we have agreed to do a demo for the crowd. This is a fantastic opportunity to get the club seen in a fun environment with many like-minded people.
If we could have as many dancers as possible at this demo. We dress in our finest dresses or wear purple and black, and club shirts. We can all take turns dancing on the stage - often with 3 or 4 other couples. It is always a great day out.
The club will have a gazebo near the band where we can congregate and leave our belongings safely. Remember to bring sunblock, water and a chair if you don't like sitting on the grass.
We are first up to give a display at 9:00 a.m.
Other dance displays that day are at 10:30 a.m and 2:45 p.m.
